چکیده
The scaling up of wireless operating microelectronics for upcoming Internet Things (IoT) applications demands high-performance micro-supercapacitors (MSCs) with corresponding high-energy and power capabilities. Indeed, this necessitates the quest MSC’s electrode materials capable delivering high energy density at charge/discharge rates. Many multicationic oxides, such as spinel manganese-iron compounds, demonstrate good pseudocapacitive properties positive electrodes in conventional supercapacitors. However, fulfilling required fabrication techniques is a challenge their MSCs. Hence, study, first time, demonstrates successful deposition Mn-Fe thin films on functional platinum-based current collector. achieved reactive oxygen environment via DC magnetron sputtering subsequently annealed ex situ 600 °C nitrogen environment. electrochemical signature neutral 1 M Na 2 SO 4 aqueous electrolyte comparable to those reported type bulk counterparts. areal capacitance 10 mV.s −1 15.5 mF.cm −2 μ m thick film, exhibiting excellent coulombic efficiency (close 100%) long-term cycle stability after 10,000 cycles. Thus, synthesis oxides compatible microelectronic methods has set prospective path achieve very MSCs future IoT applications.

Ultraviolet detectors in thin sputtered ZnO films.
Sputtering of ZnO is a well-known technique.'9 The application of sputtered thin films of ZnO has mainly been as surface acoustic wave transducers. To our knowledge nobody has yet used these films as detectors for UV radiation. Measurements of the intensity of UV radiation, for example in medical applications in connection with UV irradiation of the skin, are very inaccurate due to the lack of ...

The potential growth modes for epitaxial growth of Fe3O4 on SrTiO3 (001) are investigated through control of the energetics of the pulsed-laser deposition growth process (via substrate temperature and laser fluence). We find that Fe3O4 grows epitaxially in three distinct growth modes: 2D-like, island, and 3D-to-2D, the last of which is characterized by films that begin growth in an island growt...
متن کاملModeling of metastable phase formation diagrams for sputtered thin films
A method to model the metastable phase formation in the Cu-W system based on the critical surface diffusion distance has been developed. The driver for the formation of a second phase is the critical diffusion distance which is dependent on the solubility of W in Cu and on the solubility of Cu in W. Based on comparative theoretical and experimental data, we can describe the relationship between...
متن کاملMAGNETRON SPUTTERED Al-ZnO THIN FILMS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC APPLICATIONS
The optimization process of the RF magnetron sputtered Al doped ZnO (AZO) thin films was carried out by studying its structural, optical, electrical, and morphological properties at different RF power and different working pressures for its use as a front-contact for the copper indium diselenide (CIS) based thin film solar cell. The structural study suggests that the preferred orientation of gr...
